Feba’s radio ministry in southern Africa is concentrated on the countries of Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Malawi. While some programmes are broadcast from international short wave transmitters most are now broadcast from local medium wave (AM) or FM radio stations. In Zimbabwe Feba’s programmes are broadcast in English and Shona by the national broadcaster. Production teams in Mozambique make programmes in the national language of Portuguese as well as several regional langages. Ministry to the Yao people, who live in southern Malawi, northern Mozambique and parts of Tanzania, is co-ordinated from Blantyre in Malawi. Feba also has a support office in South Africa.
